SHARLA O'BRYANT, TSgt
My name is Technical Sergeant Sharla O'Bryant. I am the Northern Idaho USAF Enlisted Accessions Recruiter, recruiting out of Post Falls ID, Coeur d'Alene ID, down to Saint Maries ID and up to Bonners Ferry ID. Some of my hobbies that I enjoy is traveling, reading, and getting outdoors to do hiking trails with my husband. Before I became a recruiter, my career field was Services. The career field primarily consists of cooking in the dining facility and working at the base gym but has many other aspects of the job. I really enjoy recruiting because it gives me a chance to help people start their Air Force's careers and to create their own Air Force story. The Air Force has provided me with many benefits, including traveling to many different locations, 2 college degrees, along with leadership and life experiences. and countless friendships and mentors.
DEREK BRANNAN, Ssgt
My name is SSgt Derek Brannan. I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I went to college for 3 years and earn my Associates degree in Business. That's when I decided to join the Air Force and continue my education. I've been in the Air Force for 8 years now and my original AFSC was Fuels Apprentice. I really enjoyed the job but was ready to advance my career even more so I volunteered for Recruiting Service. I'm currently stationed in Spokane, WA and I recruit for the western part of Spokane which includes Cheney, Medical Lake, Airway Heights, Reardan, Davenport, Wilbur, Creston, Odessa, Harrington, Ritzville, and Sprague. I've been recruiting for a total of 2 years now and I really enjoy that the fact that we are positively changes people's lives. I like to mentor my applicants and get them ready to become Airman in the United States Air Force. The Air Force has allowed me to continue my education and I have received 2 Community of the College (CCAF) degrees. I'm only a few classes away from my Bachelor's degree and plan on commissioning as an Officer. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, exploring, riding motorcycles, gaming, hiking, working out, and running. I've had a great experience in Recruiting and continue looking forward to using what I have learned and applying it to continue advancing in my career after my tour.
